Description
Responsibilities: • Conduct desktop research on indoor air quality policies and regulations in Hong Kong, as well as international best practices. • Gather information on local building health standards, air quality index, and existing initiatives related to indoor air quality improvement. • Analyze how indoor air quality initiatives can contribute to Hong Kong's 2050 carbon neutrality goal. • Synthesize research findings into comprehensive reports, summaries, and presentations. • Assist in the development of new concepts and projects based on research outcomes. • Collaborate with the team to identify potential strategies and interventions to improve indoor air quality in Hong Kong. Qualifications: • Current enrolment in a college or university program, preferably pursuing a degree in environmental science, public health, policy studies, or a related discipline. • Demonstrated interest in environmental health, policy analysis, and sustainability. • Strong research skills with the ability to conduct thorough desktop research and analyze complex information. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment. • Knowledge of Hong Kong's environmental policies and initiatives is advantageous but not required. Duration and Compensation: • The internship duration is 2-3 months. • This is a paid internship opportunity with compensation provided for the duration of the internship.
